Provided by Manitoba Hydro as land- line electric power. Residential rates are :

Basic charge $6.25 /month
First 175 kWh 5.78 cents/KWH
Balance 5.16 cents/KWH

Phone Services
Manitoba Telecom Services provides individual private- line service, Highspeed internet and digital switching with toll-free calling to Winnipegosis, Dauphin, Cowan, Ethelbert, Fork River, Gilbert Plains, Grandview, Ochre River, Pine River, Rorketon, Sifton and Waterhen. Call MTS toll-free at (204) 225-5687. PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT MTS DOES NOT PROVIDE CELLULAR SERVICE TO OUR AREA!!

Water
Water is currently pumped from Lake Winnipegosis into a 6.3 million litre reservoir by an automatic refill system. It is then treated by coagulation, filtration and chlorination in the water treatment plant and distributed by piped distribution system. Approximately 165 homes and other facilities are connected to the system. Manual pickup of water from the water treatment plant is available for non-connected customers.

Waste Disposal
Weekly community pickup service by private contractor exists with disposal in a community solid waste site one kilometre south of the community on PTH #20. This site is manned and open 16 hours per week. A low-pressure sewage collection system  is connected to a three cell lagoon.
